Our Story
Noctua Security Services Ltd was founded by Warren Dale and Paul Davies — two security professionals with a shared vision: to build a security company that earns trust through transparency, not just presence.
After decades in the industry, we saw a gap for a provider that treated every officer as a professional, every client as a partner, and every deployment as an opportunity to prove excellence. That philosophy became Noctua — and it drives everything we do.
Today, we provide door supervision, event security, site protection, and more across the UK. Every officer is SIA-licensed, continuously trained, and — uniquely — rated by the public they serve through our pioneering QR-based review system.

The Role of a Security Guard
A security guard serves as the first line of defence — deterring criminal activity, monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents. Crowd Control

Powers of Arrest
Under Section 24A of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, security officers have the power of citizen arrest for indictable offences. Our officers are thoroughly trained in the lawful, proportionate exercise of this power — knowing when, how, and when not to act.
First Aid
All Noctua officers hold valid first aid qualifications. In high-pressure environments, seconds matter — and our teams are equipped to respond to medical emergencies with confidence until professional medical support arrives.
